Rointe has participated in the awards ceremony of the German Design Awards 2026, held in Frankfurt (Germany), where the EONIQ was recognized in the category Excellent Product Design – Energy for its design, technological innovation, and energy efficiency.
The award, granted by the German Design Council, distinguishes products that stand out for their excellence in design, innovation, and energy efficiency, and consolidates EoniQ as an international benchmark within the smart electric heating sector.
Representing Rointe, Roger Gosálbez, Art and Design Director, and José G. Dengra, Technical Director of the company, attended the event, who accepted the award during a day that brought together designers, architects, prescribers, and leading brands worldwide.
An international recognition of design, technology, and energy efficiency
The jury of the German Design Awards especially valued the combination of contemporary design, Inverter Smart Adaptive technology, WiFi connectivity without a gateway, artificial intelligence, and a clear focus on energy efficiency, elements that define the EONIQ radiator and reflect Rointe’s vision of developing heating solutions designed for current and future comfort.
During the event, Roger Gosálbez highlighted the significance of the recognition for the brand:

The ceremony took place within the framework of the Ambiente fair, one of the most important international events in the design sector, and was attended by more than 1,200 guests from the creative industry, architecture, and technological innovation.
With this award, Rointe reinforces its position as a European manufacturer of efficient, connected, and design-oriented electric heating solutions, and consolidates the EoniQ radiator as one of the most advanced products in its catalog.
This international recognition adds to other recent milestones of the company and reaffirms Rointe’s commitment to the development of products that combine design, sustainability, and technology to respond to the new demands of the energy market.
