• • Rointe towel rails are designed to be wall-mounted vertically, with fixings, brackets and a template supplied.

• • Rointe towel rails must be installed at least 25 cm from the floor.

• • Rointe towel rails come with a 1.4 m cable, but not a plug. In bathrooms, power sockets must be installed at least 3 m from the bath or shower in accordance with Part P Building Regs, so we recommend you use a qualified electrician to “hardwire” your towel rail.

• • As Rointe towel rails are IP44 or IP54 rated, they can be installed in:

· Zone 1 – Above the bath or shower to a height of 2.25m. IP rating must protect against water spray from all directions (IPX4/IP44).

· Zone 2 – The area stretching to 0.6m outside of the bath or shower. IP rating must protect against water spray from all directions (IPX4/IP44).

· Outside Zones – (Previously Zone 3, which was removed under the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671) No IP Rating required.
