Rointe Registers in the MITECO Carbon Footprint Registry

At Rointe, We Continue to Take Firm Steps in our Commitment to Sustainability. The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), through the Spanish Office for Climate Change, Has Recently Announced the Favorable Resolution to our Application for Registration in the Registry of Carbon Footprint, Compensation and CO₂ Absorption Projects.

This official recognition validates the calculation of our carbon footprint and reflects our commitment to the reduction and compensation of emissions, in line with the decarbonization objectives established by the European Union for 2050.

What is the Carbon Footprint Registry?

The Registry of Carbon Footprint, Compensation and CO₂ Absorption Projects is an official tool of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), managed by the Spanish Office for Climate Change (OECC). This initiative allows organizations to:

Calculate and communicate their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Establish reduction plans with verifiable objectives.
Compensate emissions through certified absorption projects.

This promotes transparency and encourages organizations like Rointe to adopt an active role in mitigating climate change.

Rointe's Commitment to Sustainability

With this registration, Rointe joins the group of organizations that not only measure and report their emissions, but also implement effective reduction and compensation actions. Our commitment translates into concrete initiatives such as:

Use of 100% recycled and recyclable aluminum in the manufacture of electric radiators.
Optimization of packaging to reduce waste and improve logistical efficiency.
Development of smart technologies to maximize energy efficiency and reduce consumption.
Participation in reforestation programs and compensation projects certified by competent entities.
Implementation of self-consumption facilities to reduce external energy dependence.

Next Steps

Soon, Rointe will appear in the public list of organizations registered on the website of the MITECO Carbon Footprint Registry. This portal will publish data relating to our emissions, the reduction indicators achieved and the commitments made, as part of our transparency policy.
